Where I am now...

Six years ago I was gifted with a tapestry loom.  A 22" Mirrix loom.  Two years later, I signed up for Rebecca Mezoff's online classes.  And by doing so, found a new joy and a new way to create.

While I haven't created a ton of tapestries (after all, other looms also need my attention), I have had a great time working with that amazing loom and exploring tapestry techniques.

Just off the loom...

My first tapestry was entered in my guild show a few years ago. And it even won an award!

While studying tapestry, and looking at the work of many tapestry artists, I was intrigued by wedge weave and that has been my focus for the past few months.

Two of my wedge weaves will be in our next show, opening at the end of March at The Philadelphia Guild of Handweavers.
